CANCELLED - 2020 Pokémon Premier Challenge - April

NOTE: In accordance with recommendations released by the CDC on March 15th, we are cancelling the MSS and our April and May Premier Challenge events. We take serious the health and safety of our SoCal VGC community and their families and ask for your support with this decision. Together, we can greatly mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Especially these next two weeks will be critical in determining if our events, and life in general, will be able to continue as normal in mid-May. If we all do our part and practice safe social distancing, avoid crowds, take necessary precautions, and follow common courtesy; we can defeat this.

We are currently looking into the logistics and hope to have some fun, unsanctioned, online tournaments to fill the time, promote healthy social distancing, and provide practice for when our local events can resume as normal once again. Keep checking our social media and here at for more info.

Along with your Nintendo Switch and a copy of Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield we highly suggest, while not required, that you also bring a Nintendo Switch Stand and LAN Adapter to connect to your matches via LAN Mode. We will provide LAN Cables at every table for you and your opponent to use. This will help reduce wireless interference and the possibility of game disconnects as well as allow you to use your favorite wired controllers. Click on the following link to see a list of suggested LAN accessories for Pokémon Tournaments:
